PLC platforms and export formats supported by PLC Copilot.
PLC Copilot works directly from exported project files using a vendor-agnostic engine. Because support for each platform is built in, there is no need to have the target IDE installed on your machine. All PLC drivers come included in the PLC Copilot application, no need to install additional plugins.
We are actively expanding coverage to include more IDEs, file formats, and capabilities.

Explain — AI can read and reason about your project (explain, search, cross-reference).
Edit — AI can generate validated logic or tag/comment tables you can bring back into that IDE.
IDE Viewer — Interactive visualization of your project inside PLC Copilot.
Auto Backups — Automatic local backups of your project as the AI make changes, use this to undo changes.
Other common features, such as documentation tools, transcript export, and chat history are available for all project types.
No project loaded
You can chat without opening a file. Describe requirements in plain English and get ladder proposals following Studio 5000 conventions. For tag grounding and rung citations, load a project export.
